Yep- that is my kitchen the other day, a huge mess! I find it frustrating when there are so many pictures out there that people put on their blogs where everything looks perfect. Well, like I said before, I'm not perfect and here is photographic proof. I have been so tired all of the time lately, as soon as I recover from helping people moving (yeah, still doing that, but hopefully there is an end in sight) I go back to help some more. I haven't hardly had time to spend on my own house the past three weeks, so it is a mess... but that is life, right? And that is why I started this blog, to show anyone else out there like me that things aren't perfect all of the time. In fact, for me, my house rarely is perfect. As we are contemplating selling our house everyone keeps saying that we will have to essentially live in a model home all of the time. That will be a challenge for me as I haven't always been the best Susie Homemaker out there (at least when it comes to keeping things clean), but I'm hopeful that it will help us clear out a lot of our clutter and maybe teach both me and my family how to keep a house clean- but let's be honest with kids ranging from 11 to 8 months old, how likely is that???
At any rate, just wanted to post and tell you all to have a good day and that if your house is as big of a mess as mine, that is okay and you aren't alone! I think I'm going to set a goal of getting one room cleaned up a day, likely it won't stay clean (as my life has constantly proved), but it is something to strive for! That is how, today, I'm going to try to be better!
